Coach Ritchey is in his first year as the Athletic Director/Head Football Coach for the Electra Tigers.   Prior to his time in Electra he spent 16 years as the Offensive Coordinator for the Tascosa Rebels. He is beginning his 24th year of coaching. He has coached high school football for 21 years, 18 of those years as an Offensive Coordinator, at Tascosa High School, Randall High School, and Hallsville High School. Before joining the high school ranks, Coach Ritchey was a Graduate Assistant at Abilene Christian University under legendary head Coach Gary Gaines. Under Coach Gaines, Coach Ritchey helped coach the Offensive Line and Tight Ends, Wide Receivers, and Running Backs. Throughout his time as a high school assistant, Coach Ritchey has been an assistant Soccer Coach, Track Coach, Wrestling Coach, and a Head Powerlifting and Girls Track Coach. He is a graduate of Vernon High School, Abilene Christian University, and The University of Texas at Austin. He has been married to Brittany for 23 years and has 2 children, Jaydon and Kye. Jaydon (21 years old). Kye (19 years old) is studying at ACU. Their dog a miniature schnauzer, Caroline, is 4 years old.
