For papers assigned to be turned in fewer than (5days)
Students are expected to turn in homework on time. If a student does not turn in his/her paper the day it is due but turns it in the following day, he/she will receive a 20 point reduction in his/her grade. If the paper is not turned in the next day following the due date but is turned in the following day (two days late), the student will receive a 40 point grade reduction. If the paper is not turned in the second day, it will not be accepted.
Assignments are due when the teacher calls for them.
1 day late = 20 point reduction
2 days late = 40 point reduction
If not turned in the second day a zero will be recorded for that assignment.
For papers and projects assigned more five or more days in advance
For papers and projects assigned more than five days in advance, the teacher will provide a written copy of the assignment, which will include a grading rubric and turn-in guidelines. |
