DETENTION GUIDELINES
2008-2009
Detention is held every Monday and Thursday during the school year.
Students who receive a referral on Monday or Wednesday will serve detention during the next detention day.
- Students must report to the designated site by 3:00-3:25.
Exception: If a student reports late, he/she must have a pass from another faculty member.
- Students must follow the directives of the supervising teacher. Directives may include (but are not limited to) cleaning different areas on campus.
- The rules and guidelines in the Student Handbook and Student Code of Conduct and High School rules are in effect. Appropriate dress is required and no food or drinks are permitted.
- Any student who is late, disruptive, or does not follow the directives from the teacher will be asked to leave and referred to the office for further disciplinary action.
- Students will be dismissed by the teacher.

Note: Parents cannot get students out of detention for other reasons except by prior approval from the principal. Written documentation must be submitted the following day from the place of the appointment.
Unexcused missed detention:
1st time will result in double detention
Any additional unexcused misses will result in ISS
