This past Saturday, December 3rd, Electra FFA members attended the annual Pease River Livestock Jackpot Show in Vernon, TX. Electra FFA was represented in every species. Electra FFA showed 21 pigs, 3 Goats, and 2 Sheep. The show consisted of approximately 140 pigs, 55 goats, and 44 sheep. Results are as posted below. I just wanted to brag on our Electra FFA students and their success they had at the Wichita County Livestock Show over the weekend.
We truly had a great show and were represented well.
Jason Hopkins— 6th place hog, 2nd place pen of rabbits
Shane Hopkins— 4th place hog, 3rd place pen of rabbits
Kalena Priselac— 2nd, & 4th place hogs
Dusti Butler— Class Winning Hampshire, and a 6th place hog
Bodi Gilbert— Two 3rd place hogs
Levi Fillmore— Class Winning Light Cross, and a 3rd place hog
Andrew Marsh— Class Winning Dark Cross, a 3rd, and a 5th place hog

11 students made the sale due to their high placings and brought in a total of $15,150!!! That is an average of $1377 a student.
I could not be more proud of how we were represented. I also want to thank all teachers, coaches, and staff for being understanding of these students missing practices and school to be involved in other extracurricular activities.
